Born on February 5, 1967 in Ćuprija, Serbia. Grew up in Zagreb, Croatia where she lived until 1992. In addition to school and musical endeavors, she mostly spends his time on the sports fields. However, due to her great talent, volleyball becomes her choice.
She played volleyball professionally from 1983 to 1996. She played in Mladost Monter from Zagreb, Croatia, Ariss, Thessaloniki Greece, Jedinstvo, Uzice Serbia. With her clubs, she won 7 titles of the champions of Yugoslavia, the European Champions League, and third place at the club world championship. For many years she was a representative of Yugoslavia.
Since 2002, Tanja has been swimming in completely different waters. He is starting to deal with tourism. Together with her husband, Slobodan Boba Kovac, who is still an active volleyball coach, she opened the Vila Lago guesthouse on Silver Lake.
Since the first day of SILAFEST 15 years ago, festival guests spent the festival days at Villa Lago.
She speaks Greek, Italian and English fluently.
